Hello Hans,
it ´s realy difficult to make an expertise of a mushrom only with a foto. Specially when there is no discription from your part. In the photo you gave it seems that the musroom has a violett coulor !?
If it is violett it can be a mushrom of the class wich is called cortinariaceae. (to say it in colloquial way: a curtain mushroom) Nearly all types of this class are not for consumtion!

What sort of description would you suggest for future posts.
Mushroom hunting is new to me and I must say it is sort of addictive.
I am heading out this weekend hunting and photographing.
By the way the photos are as true to colour as I can get them with a grey card and photoshop CS4 -
